PROJECT IMPLEMENTS;

• During the Mbamba Bay Coal Project under Aria Commodities, a detailed geological mapping exercise was conducted to establish the structural framework and lithological variations of the area. The work involved systematic field observations, recording rock types, stratigraphic contacts, structural orientations, and surface expressions of coal-bearing formations. Special emphasis was placed on identifying faults, folds, and fractures that could influence coal seam continuity and thickness. Data collected from the mapping provided a solid geological base for guiding subsequent exploration activities including trenching and drilling. Ultimately, the exercise enhanced the understanding of the coal deposit’s geometry, distribution, and potential economic viability.
